Our story began with a simple gift for my son, a few tiny Maileg mouse and a second-hand dollhouse. What started as a toy soon became something much more. As we added more little animals to the collection, I found myself completely captivated by the miniature world they lived in.
I've always loved creating with my hands. Sewing, knitting, crochet, watercolour, and acrylic painting have been part of my life for many years. It wasn't long before I discovered a new passion, designing and decorating miniature homes and making miniature furnitures and rugs. Every tiny bed, pillow, quilt, and room became an opportunity to create something beautiful and full of character.
One of my favourite memories happened during a job interview. The interviewer asked, "Is there anything about you that isn't on your resume?" I smiled and shared my newest hobby which is decorating dollhouses. She laughed and said she had loved dollhouses when she was a little girl. That unexpected conversation broke the ice, made a lasting impression, and I was fortunate enough to be offered the job. It reminded me that creativity has a wonderful way of connecting people.
Today, Tiny Dream Linens Australia is where I bring together my love of craftsmanship and miniature design. Every piece is thoughtfully handmade with care, attention to detail, and a genuine passion for creating cosy little spaces.
